Tuesday 7th July - walks *** – Early Felixstowe prom and visit Mary – sunny and very hot :(

Mag got up early to water/feed her garden as the hot weather is playing havoc with her plants! We then headed down to Felixstowe seafront at 6.30 before the temperatures reach 30 degrees again, it seems like people are catching on as it was pretty busy including a huge yoga class on the beach. Today we walked another three miles, this time making it to Jacobs Ladder, the highlight was a swimmer out with a flamingo as a float :) Home to sort out a few pics before breakfast with Mag in the garden before doing my exercises and it was now hot! I did have one eye on the wind after missing a good day yesterday but it was all over the place so when we were asked to look after Maeva for an hour we did that and had fun watching her in the paddling pool. We took the scenic route round Gulpher Road looking for any combines out before dropping Mag in town. I parked the van at home before visiting Mary and home for a doze before tea in the garden where the temperature had definitely dropped thank goodness:)
I headed again down to Felixstowe Ferry to watch another lovely sunset from the boatyard:)
